The Global Onchain Awards 2026 will recognize the institutions, infrastructure providers, and innovators advancing tokenization, digital assets, and the convergence of traditional finance with onchain finance. This Assessment Framework outlines the process that will be used to evaluate and determine winners across all award categories. The evaluation will combine independent quantitative research, verified community participation, and expert jury review governed by a structured oversight process designed to ensure fairness, consistency, and integrity across every segment of the program.
The Global Onchain Awards 2026 recognize the institutions, infrastructure providers, platforms, and individuals building the bridge between traditional finance and onchain rails. Built on the conviction that credibility in the digital asset space must be earned through measurable execution not market sentiments alone.
Recognition under the Global Onchain Awards 2026 is determined through a structured three-stage evaluation framework. The weight of each stage varies by segment based on the nature of the category.
STAGE 1 - QUANTITATIVE MARKET SCREENING
All nominees will be assessed against a defined set of quantitative indicators drawn from verified on-chain and off-chain data sources. This stage establishes a measurable baseline of real-world performance before any qualitative judgment is applied.STAGE 2 - EXPERT PANEL REVIEW
A curated panel of domain experts spanning institutional finance, blockchain infrastructure, legal and regulatory affairs, and digital asset research, independently evaluates shortlisted nominees against category-specific criteria. Panel members are required to declare conflicts of interest and are recused from scoring any category where a direct relationship exists.STAGE 3 - VERIFIED VOTING
All categories include a voting component. For institutional and enterprise categories (Segments A and B), voting is restricted to verified B2B participants; submissions are accepted only from verified corporate email domains to ensure that institutional peer recognition reflects genuine industry standing. For market-facing and individual recognition categories (Segments C and D), a broader community voting window will be opened, with duplicate submissions excluded from the final count.Any individual, team, or organisation may nominate a project, company, product, or individual for a relevant award category. Self-nomination is permitted. A nominee may participate in multiple relevant categories, provided the nomination meets the criteria of each category.
A nomination fee may apply to support the administration, research, and evaluation process. Payment of a nomination fee does not guarantee shortlisting, votes, jury scores, or an award.

Every eligible nomination follows the same structured research process.
1. Eligibility Verification
Each nomination is reviewed to confirm eligibility, category alignment, operational status, and the availability of sufficient publicly verifiable information.
2. Evidence Collection
The research team gathers and verifies information from approved public and institutional sources to build a comprehensive evidence dossier for every nominee.
3. Category Assessment
Each nominee will be evaluated against the standardized evaluation framework using category-specific performance indicators relevant to the selected award category.
4. Research Dossier
Verified findings are compiled into a structured research dossier, which is submitted to the Independent Expert Jury for independent evaluation.
Each award category will be evaluated against a defined set of signals specific to that category. These are not rigid checklists, they are directional indicators that guide both quantitative screening and expert panel review, ensuring that evaluation reflects real-world context rather than a one-size-fits-all scoring model.
Evaluated on the number of tokenization mandates completed during the period, the jurisdictional breadth of regulatory work handled, contributions to novel legal frameworks, and public industry guidance or thought leadership published.

Community and public voting will introduce a verified public sentiment layer into the evaluation process. The voting component will reflect community recognition, ecosystem engagement, and market awareness while maintaining safeguards against artificial or coordinated manipulation.
Public voting will be conducted through a controlled, time-restricted voting window. Depending on the voting system used for the award cycle, eligible participation may require:
CoinGape will apply validation and monitoring measures to maintain the integrity of community voting, which may include:
Votes identified as invalid may be removed before the final public voting score is calculated. Where systemic manipulation is identified, CoinGape reserves the right to disqualify the affected nominee's community voting score. The final validated vote count may therefore differ from interim vote counts displayed during the voting period.
The nominee achieving the highest valid Final Score within a category will ordinarily be recommended as the winner, subject to governance review and final ratification. In the event of a tie, the Independent Expert Jury score will serve as the primary tie-breaker, followed by the Research and Due Diligence score where required. Award decisions will become final following ratification.
The Global Onchain Awards 2026 will be presented during the Global Onchain Summit Singapore on 6 October 2026. Each winner will receive:
